Volunteers who volunteer for a 4-hour shift or more receive a full weekend pass to the con.
Volunteer Gear
Rocky Con's volunteers receive an exclusive volunteer badge. This year, we're considering cloaks instead of t-shirts so that our volunteers stand out from the crowd.

Volunteer Information
Available Shifts
- Friday (setup): 9am-1pm, 1pm-5pm, 5pm-9pm
- Saturday: 8am-12pm, 12pm-4pm, 4pm-8pm
- Sunday: 8am-12pm, 12pm-4pm, 4pm-8pm
- Monday (take-down): 10-2pm, 2pm-6pm

- Panel Moderators
- Game Masters (run at least 4hrs of game-time)
- Time Lord (watch the schedule and prompt panelists and GMs to get ready to start or end)
- Orientation Guides
- Security (onsite contact for safety, first aid response, report inappropriate behavior)
- Tavern servers
- Registration / Check-in
- Parking Attendant
- Host Rocky Con competitions
- Game librarians
- Merch sales
- Info desk
- Décor set-up
- Event take-down
- Clean-up & restock during event

Rocky Con is a nonprofit event supporting The Rocky Mountain Behavior Institute. RMBI's mission is to conduct and translate research in the field of student behavior intervention for practitioner use in the classroom as well as providing Special Education/Related Services for rural schools in the Mountain West.
